  29. Try to exchange the CIA's (8520) U7 and U8. If the problem disappears then U7
  30. might be defect. You might get printer-trouble or serial-trouble when
  31. exchanging. (I mean placing U7 in place U8 and U8 in place of U7, U7<->U8).

  33. U7 handles : Drive + parallel port
  34. U8 handles : Drive + serial port
  35.  
  36. If this doesn't help at all then replace GARY U5.
